The Soltero Slow Burn

What's so special about Soltero Spiced Oils? What makes them stand out over any other cooking oil or hot sauce?

In my opinion, it's the slow burn. There's something about the settling of the oil on your lips, your tongue and the entire inside of your mouth that makes it far more enjoyable. The flavor and the spice lingers, intensifying as it sits. The best is how you feel as the oil warms you up inside, in your throat, in your tummy... I call this the "Soltero Slow Burn."

This is why Soltero Spiced Oils are great during winter. You can add them to any soup, stew, or any other meal to create that warmth. I added some to the caldo I made during the last cold front. Actually, I had a few bowls and tried a different oil each time. They are all wonderful, but I probably enjoyed "La Vampira" with it the most because of the heavy garlic and heavy spice. "El Kickboxer" is my other favorite when it comes to soups, especially with ramen. The Thai chili, garlic and kaffir lime flavors transform a simple soup into something quite amazing. Grab a bowl and take a seat by the fireplace.

Although some of my spiced oils contain some of the world's hottest peppers, the ratio allows you to enjoy the flavors without searing all of your taste buds. I'm a glutton for spice, but there's nothing worse than a hot sauce with all the spice and none of the flavor. Using both mild and extremely spicy peppers, Soltero has found the perfect balance for all preferences and palates.
